What information Folvey handles, why we use it and how to make a request.

Crosvia Solutions Pvt Ltd

What we handle

We handle information that studios and their teams provide to run their photography business, along with information that clients and guests submit through shared galleries.

  • Account and contact details, including names, phone numbers, studio details and team roles.
  • Wedding and business records, including client details, schedules, quotations, invoices and payment status.
  • Photographs and delivery content, including albums, selections, comments and optional guest selfies.
  • Technical and account activity needed to operate the service, investigate errors and prevent misuse.

Payment providers process payment credentials. Do not upload card details or unrelated sensitive documents to Folvey.

Why we use this information

We use information to verify access, run the studio workflow, process photographs, share the galleries you configure, administer subscriptions, investigate errors and prevent misuse. Optional WhatsApp, payment and creative AI integrations are activated separately. We do not use a private wedding gallery as marketing imagery without permission.

Who can see it

Studio owners choose team roles, recipients and gallery permissions. Anyone receiving a share link may be able to use it according to its access settings, so share links carefully. Hosting, storage, communications and payment providers process the information needed for their service. Providers and processing locations can differ while Folvey moves from its pilot hosting to its production infrastructure.

Photographs and face matching

Original photographs are stored privately and accessed through authorised, expiring links. Optional guest face matching processes an uploaded selfie and photographs from the permitted gallery to find possible matches. Studio consent and guest participation are required; matching can be inaccurate and should not be used to establish identity. Contact the studio if you do not want your photographs included in a matching gallery.

Guest face matching runs on Folvey’s servers. The service removes the uploaded selfie after processing and retries cleanup if needed. Guest search access expires after seven days; scheduled cleanup removes expired face representations and match results. Withdrawing consent clears these records. The guest matching screen provides a withdrawal control for the same device and session.

Cookies and browser storage

Folvey uses browser storage for sign-in sessions, language preferences, gallery access and workflow state, including selections waiting to sync. These details help you continue your work when you return or reconnect.

Sign out on shared devices. Clearing site data may sign you out and remove unsynced selections or local drafts. The public site does not currently include advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

Optional services and external fonts

When a studio enables WhatsApp or payment services, the configured provider receives the information needed to complete that action. Optional creative generation sends the submitted creative brief to the configured AI provider.

The nearby shoot locations tool sends a place you search for, or your device coordinates if you allow location access, to the configured map provider to find nearby places.

Folvey’s own fonts are hosted with the app. A studio that selects an additional Google Font can cause its gallery to connect to Google’s font servers, sharing technical connection information such as your IP address.

Security and access

We apply access controls and tenant separation. Studios choose their team roles and sharing permissions; people with an accessible gallery link may be able to view or download the permitted photographs.

No online service can promise absolute security. Report unexpected access or sharing to the studio and Folvey support. Do not include sign-in codes, access tokens or private gallery links in public reports.

Retention, copies and deletion

Active studio files remain subject to the studio’s account and delivery settings. Removing a photograph from a collection does not necessarily delete its stored files or backups. Retained files can still count towards storage.

Contact support for an export, account closure or a storage and deletion review. We verify authority and confirm the scope and applicable retention before proceeding. The production backup retention schedule will be published before paid enrolment opens.

Your requests

For account information, access corrections or privacy requests, contact Folvey through the Contact page. For a photograph or gallery managed by a wedding studio, contact that studio first; it decides the purpose of the wedding collection and which people receive access. We may need to work with the studio to fulfil your request.
